Michael is the passion, the hands, and the heart behind Just Add Wood. Starting this business was his dream — and now he’s out here living it (with a toolbelt and a smile). A skilled carpenter and king of the dad joke, he’s known for leaving every job site cleaner, straighter, and slightly more pun-filled than before.
Sidney is the behind-the-scenes force making sure this dream doesn’t run off the rails. A multitasking stay-at-home mom of three, she balances business emails, baby bottles, and branding strategies — often all in the same hour. She handles the marketing, scheduling, and occasional emergency snack runs like a pro.
Together, they’re building more than just fences and decks — they’re building a life rooted in faith, family, and a whole lot of sawdust.

Dylan is the energy and the smile behind the business — the kind of guy who makes you feel like a friend five minutes into a conversation. A proud Alabama native (go ahead, say “Roll Tide” and watch his eyes light up), he’s passionate about connecting with clients, loving people well, and living out his faith with joy. If there’s laughter on the job site, Dylan’s probably the reason.
Devon keeps the whole operation grounded — especially her husband. A talented cosmetologist and full-time encourager, she brings heart, honesty, and a great eye for style to everything she touches. As a new mom and brand advocate, she’s balancing bottles and business cards with grace (and just a little dry shampoo).
Together, they’re more than a team — they’re best friends to Michael and Sidney, new parents navigating life with humor and hope, and a huge part of what makes Just Add Wood feel like family.
